Getting Back On Track

As you likely know by now, my fourth album, "Renaissance", has been released.

And as you've likely guessed, working on it has been quite a time-consuming task. During the 16-month process, some things fell by the wayside in domino fashion. Since the focus was on the record there was a lot less gigging. With less gigging there was less attention paid to the website and social media. With less attention in those areas there were fewer email updates from me.

With each passing season (month, week, day, moment) my connection to the world outside of the album shrunk further and further.

Truthfully, I've always experienced difficulty around providing updates, even when there are updates to provide. On the occasions it didn't just slip my mind, I had some conflict around flooding people's inboxes. I know I don't like it when my email is inundated with unsolicited solicitations. When there's nothing really to report, to try and create an update out of nothing seems positively extraneous.

What an odd thing when I consider it my personal mission to connect with people in love and joy through music. There's been some separation there and it's time to mend that.

So connection is what I'm aiming for. Now comes the next process: Getting out there more as a performer and getting better at staying in touch - making and keeping the connections. I'll take any help I can get!

Love and joy to you all!
